Zfx™ Construction Components for implant prosthetics

New catalogue now available online!

Numerous implant systems, diverse implant-abutment connections and CAD/CAM components with closed architecture: These are the factors that give dental technicians a hard time when it comes to the production of custom implant abutments. Users of the Zfx™ CAD-Software, the software exocad® DentalCAD and the 3Shape Dental System™ can reduce the required effort by use of construction components offered by the company Zfx. A new online catalogue provides an overview of the product range.

There is a wide variety of components available: Titanium bases are obtainable for diverse implant systems and restorative materials, in different configurations with and without engagement (for single and multi-unit restorations), and with the emergence profile designs “small” and “regular”. They allow for an ideal shaping of the soft tissue and are selected depending on the gingiva biotype. Moreover, the offering comprises multi-unit systems for the placement of screw-retained bridges and bars, match holders for laboratory scans, scanbodies for digital impressions and analogs for the production of models based on digital data. All components are CE-certified and produced in Germany by Zfx together with Zimmer Biomet.

In order to use the components, an abutment library available free of charge is simply integrated into the exocad or 3Shape software. An integration into Dental Wings DWOS will be available soon. Afterwards, the desired customized hybrid abutments or abutment crowns, temporary crowns, multi-unit bridges and bars or digital models are designed and produced either in-house or in a Zfx™ Authorized Milling Centre. Within Europe, the delivery time for the required Zfx™ Construction Components is only 24 hours, there are no obstacles hindering the quick turnaround of the implant-based restorations!

The described procedure saves time and cost since the number of orders placed at different suppliers is reduced to a minimum and the computer-aided design can be carried out in the accustomed manner with the user’s own CAD components. The new product catalogue for Zfx™ Construction Components is available online.
